In the PARADAIM innovation project, the companies AWL, MechDes, Hollander Techniek, Van den Bos CM, Verbruggen, and HGG are working together with the knowledge institutions Windesheim and the University of Twente. Under the leadership of Perron038, they are developing a virtual product development process based on an AI-supported digital model of new machines, sensors, and control systems.
The partners in PARADAIM are using data acquisition and AI analysis for the design, development, and virtual commissioning of a digital model of a new production machine. Based on this optimized digital model, the “physical twin” of the new machine is then realized. In addition to quality optimization and higher market value of the end product, the industrial partners expect this to save significant development and commissioning time—and the associated costs.
Knowledge institutions Windesheim and the University of Twente provide state-of-the-art expertise and incorporate it into technology demonstrators. Lead partner Perron038 in Zwolle ensures that all knowledge from PARADAIM is widely shared among the manufacturing industry. To this end, various workshops and knowledge events will be organized up to mid-2027.
PARADAIM is co-financed by the European Union.
